VYPE<\/strong>: Stella, you\u2019re an outside hitter on the volleyball team. What area of your game have you improved in the most this season?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stella Wishon<\/strong>: Definitely the mental aspect of the game. Volleyball is a sport where one point can change the momentum, so I\u2019ve been working on being consistent mentally.
 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VYPE<\/strong>: When did you start playing volleyball?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: I started playing in fourth grade, and I knew it was the sport for me when it was all I could think about in school. I was always so excited for the practices and games that I knew it was what I wanted to do long term. 
 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VYPE<\/strong>: What do you love most about this team?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: Our volleyball team really focuses on the Word of God and how to draw our strength through Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VYPE<\/strong>: Is there a place you love to play? What about your favorite opponent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: My favorite place to play is our own gym because of the student section. My favorite team to play is Mount St. Mary because of how skilled they are.
 
 VYPE<\/strong>: Do you have a favorite subject and a favorite teacher?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: My favorite subject is biology, and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Brown.
 
 VYPE<\/strong>: Which teammate keeps everyone laughing and who is the most serious?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: Rachel Maynes makes everyone laugh in practice and games; she knows how to lift our spirits. Someone who is serious is Pierson Smith, she can easily get us focused on the match. 
 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VYPE<\/strong>: What\u2019s the best advice you\u2019ve ever received?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SW<\/strong>: The best advice I\u2019ve ever received is from this year by my coach, I was feeling overwhelmed, and she told me to look in God\u2019s Word and play for Him because He is all that matters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VYPE<\/strong>: What do you like doing with your free time?
 SW<\/strong>: I enjoy reading and watching movies, usually all kinds of genres. 
 VYPE<\/strong>: What\u2019s the plan for life after high school?
SW<\/strong>: My goal is to get my bachelor\u2019s in kinesiology before getting my physical therapy license and starting my own private practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
